Mom, I cannot believe, to this day, that you have passed on from this physical realm. I finally understand the pain of losing a parent that meant the world to me and I now also understand your pain at losing Gram. Though I loved her very much, as I always thought, the relationship with your mom will always be a unique and special one...if you are blessed with a great mother. I was blessed with the BEST...and I know you felt that way about Gram.

You were my champion, my defender, my encourager and a friend. Though I prayed to God and always exclaimed how blessed I was to have you as a mom, it has to be repeated every single day. I love you, I miss you terribly and I will forever be indebted to this universe for giving me to you.

Your life and memories will be shared for as long as I live and have my faculties about me. I am so proud of who you were and how you faced your challenges. You are forever my hero and my inspiration.
